CHARACTERS OF THE ECOSYSTEM

Heugi’s first encounter shapes who they become.

These are not three separately named friends. Each Heugi can take a producer, consumer or decomposer form through a first encounter with a dandelion, wolf or fly agaric.

FIRST TOUCH

A first encounter shapes a new form.

Starting with one basic Heugi, the life form you first encounter leads to three representative variations.

Proper names for the three variants have not yet been determined. This page introduces some of the representative looks that Heugi can present.

THREE REPRESENTATIVE FORMS

The transformed Heugi creates different scenes.

Rather than memorizing roles, try following which encounters lead to which movements.

Producer Heugi standing with a mouse friend and a yellow flower on his head.

PRODUCER

Producer

First touch with dandelions

A type of producer who first encounters dandelions and then stays next to them as they grow.

In scenes of growing seeds and sprouts, producer Heugi has his eyes set on new beginnings.

Consumer Heugi posing energetically in a wolf suit

CONSUMER

Consumer

first touch with wolf

After meeting a wolf for the first time, he becomes a consumer who fills his days by eating and moving.

While eating, moving, and encountering other life, consumer Heugi creates moments where the landscape changes.

Decomposer Heugi runs with his earthworm friend holding a red mushroom cap

DECOMPOSER

Decomposer

First touch with amanita mushrooms

After first encountering amanita mushrooms, it is a form of decomposer that returns the remains to the soil.

As fallen leaves and remnants return to the soil, Heugi the Decomposer prepares for the next scene.

THREE FORMS, ONE DAY

One encounter
leads to the next.

The producer form stays next to the sprout, the consumer form adds movement, and the decomposer form returns what is left to the soil. meta_PCD shows this connection not as a rule table, but through Heugi's facial expressions and actions.
