Scope of application and operating entity

This policy only applies to iOS apps META_FRAME. It is separate from the website's general policy (/privacy) and the policies of other apps.

The brand of META_FRAME is meta_PCD, and the legal operating entity is 하람이 하라면 해야지(차하람). Personal information and customer support contact information is at the email address below.

Information processed on the device and for what purposes

Photos you take or select are processed and stored on your device for mission records, board viewing, and creating frame cards and photo book PDFs. The selected mission and completion time are used to show daily progress and retrieve records.

Pre-shooting ideas and post-shooting notes are saved to the device for personal records, and XP and levels are saved to the device to display progress within the app. Notification availability and time are used to schedule daily mission notifications.

Stars and user-selected tags are stored on the device to mark, organize, and find photos again. Photo book titles, introductions, photo order, covers, and status are used to organize and view photo books and generate PDFs, and are kept on the device.

The app does process photos and logs locally; this does not mean it handles no information. It currently does not automatically upload or collect these data on the developer’s servers.

Select camera and photos

The camera is used when the user chooses to take a picture and requires camera permission on the iPhone. If you do not allow permission, you will not be able to use app camera shooting.

Albums uses Apple's system photo picker. Only photos you select are imported into the app and are independent of camera permissions.

User-directed sharing

External sharing or saving of frame cards, photo book PDFs, and complete backup files occurs only when you run the relevant feature yourself. The app does not automatically publish them externally or send them to a developer server.

You choose the file storage location or sharing service. That external service's policies and retention practices may also apply.

Removing GPS metadata from shared output does not conceal personal information visible in the photo, such as faces or addresses. Check the photo's content yourself before sharing.

Storage/Backup/Delete

Photos, mission records, plans and notes, stars, user-selected tags, photo books, and progress information are stored on your device. The app currently has no account synchronization or cloud record server.

You can export completed photos, missions, shooting notes, stars, and photo books as a backup file and restore them. In-progress shooting drafts and device settings are excluded. The file includes personal photos and notes, so you must keep it in a safe location. Backup does not mean uploading to a developer server or automatic synchronization between devices. Deleting data in the app does not delete exported backup files, photo book PDFs, shared copies, or past device backups; manage those separately at their storage locations.

Users can delete individual records from the History screen or delete the entire history from Settings. Uninstalling an app also removes any internal app data left on your device.

Depending on your device backup settings, copies of your app's photos and history may be included in your Apple device backup. Deleting or uninstalling an app does not immediately erase past backups or already shared/saved copies, so you must manage them separately in that location.

Processing not currently available

Currently the app has no sign-ups, no advertising, no analytics SDK, no user tracking, and no in-app payments. We don't use developer servers or external databases to store photos and records.

If app features or data processing methods change, we will update this policy and in-app instructions.

Inquiries and deletion requests

Individual or complete deletion of app data can be performed directly using the app function described above. For inquiries regarding usage methods, processing of personal information, or deletion requests, please contact the email address below. Since app photos and records are not stored on the developer server, the operator cannot remotely delete data on the device.

When making an email inquiry, the sending address, inquiry content, and files attached directly by the user are processed for response. Email can go through the mail service of your choice and Gmail. There is no need to send photos or sensitive information.

Inquiry emails are stored for one year from the date the response is completed and then deleted. If there is a longer storage obligation under the law, we will keep it for that period.

Implementation date and change information

This policy first took effect on September 25, 2026, and was last updated on October 9, 2026.

This update adds on-device processing of stars, selected tags, and photo book information; user-initiated sharing of frame cards, photo book PDFs, and complete backup files; backup export and restore with exclusions; management of external copies after deletion; and the limits of GPS metadata removal. The operator, initial effective date, and support email retention rules remain unchanged.

If app features or data processing methods change, we will update the revision date and changes on this page.
